Travel guide of Phi Phi Islands
This is one of my favourite shots of my 3-week Thailand trip. I took it on a private boat trip to Koh Phi Phi Don where we visited some of the most amazing beaches I have ever seen in my life. The highlight of the day was when the engine of our boat completely broke down right in front of Maya Bay with the sun setting behind us. We were so glad to get a lift from another boat back to the main island, otherwise we would have had to swim quite a few miles to the beach!
I went there a day trip from Phuket. Phi Phi islands are very popular day trip for a good reason: they are stunning!
We were on our way to Phi Phi Islands and wanted to see Maya Bay. However, the beach being closed, we asked our guide where could we stop to go snorkelling. And we just saw this beautiful hidden spot, on Phi Phi Ley

In Thailand we boated around the islands and we came across these huge pillars of land. Up close they looked like Pandora in the movie Avatar. This photo is a distance shot of some of these pillars. If you look closely you can see a boat right in the front for a bit of scale.

Thailand never ceases to offer you beautiful landscapes. What I really like about Krabi and Railay beach is the mountains surrounding the beach. It offers a beautiful scenery and makes the surroundings peaceful and quiet.
